Lidija Dimkovska’s A Spare Life is the story of Zlata and Srebra,12-year-old twins conjoined at the head, living in Yugoslavia in the 1980s. Written in touching prose by a renowned Macedonian author, A Spare Life is a saga about families, sisterhood, immigration, and the occult influences that shape a life. In conversation with critic and novelist Katie Kitamura. This will be the first event of Lidija's 10-city tour for her EU Prize–winning novel A Spare Life, about conjoined twins growing up under communism. More info here.
