Spring Book Launch: Leslie Allison, Filip Marinovich, and Lewis Warsh

Celebrating the release of Leslie Allison's Martha, Filip Marinovich's Wolfman Librarian, and Lewis Warsh's Alien Abduction. Refreshments will be served.
Leslie Allison is a writer and performer. She composes choral music for performance collaborations with Francis Weiss Rabkin. Her dance and poetry criticism can be found in HTML Giant and The Brooklyn Rail, and her band Cross released its debut album, It's Curtains, earlier this year. Martha (Spring 2015, Ugly Duckling Press) is her first chapbook.
Filip Marinovich is the author of Zero Readership and And If You Don't Go Crazy I'll Meet You Here Tomorrow, both published by Ugly Duckling Presse. In Fall 2011 Filip served as librarian at The People's Library at Occupy Wall Street and worked with Stephen Boyer as co-compiler of "The Occupy Wall Street Poetry Anthology" as well as performing in the weekly Poetry Assembly. Wolfman Librarian is his third book of poetry.
Lewis Warsh is the author of over thirty volumes of poetry, fiction and autobiography, including One Foot Out the Door: Collected Stories (Spuyten Duyvil, 2014), A Place in the Sun (Spuyten Duyvil, 2014) and Inseparable: Poems 1995-2005 (Granary Books, 2008). He is co-editor ofThe Angel Hair Anthology (Granary Books, 2001) and editor and publisher of United Artists Books. He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council of the Arts, The Poet’s Foundation and The Fund for Poetry. He has taught at Naropa University, The Poetry Project, SUNY Albany and Long Island University (Brooklyn), where he was director of the MFA program in creative writing from 2007-2013 and where he currently teaches. He lives in Manhattan and in Western Massachusetts.
