Michael Martin Shea, the translator of Liliana Ponce's forthcoming book Diario, will be reading some of the translations at Molasses Books along with J. Bret Maney and Poupeh Missaghi. Michael Martin Shea is the author of three chapbooks of poetry and hybrid writing: "Soon" (Garden-Door Press), The Immanent Field (Essay Press), and Comparative Morphologies (above/ground press). He is the translator of Liliana Ponce's Diario, forthcoming from Ugly Duckling Presse later this year. He serves as managing editor of the Best American Experimental Writing anthology series, and his own writing has appeared in Conjunctions, Fence, jubilat, PEN Poetry Series, and elsewhere. He lives in Philadelphia, PA, where he is a doctoral student in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Pennsylvania. Event is hosted by Another Way to Say.
