at Unnameable Books

UDP authors Filip Marinovich and Julien Poirier with Dustin Williamson, Lydia Cortes, and Tristan O’Shea will be at Unnameable Books tonight, October 17th at 7:30pm for an evening of readings and music.

Dustin Williamson – Knows how to keep a halo mum just by stringing the wires & lights of your favorite home apparatus just right. That’s the sensation you might get from Dustin’s words lighting you up from the interior novocaine his Pelican Tripod paints a picture, inscrutably beautiful like white waters of Wisconsin making all your monday days & nites forever bearable

Filip Marinovich– don’t play by no rules, threw away his tools & fashioned his own from street glue, cellophane, bell of horn & buddha chants, knocks em dead when they’ve been livin’ like zombies so he can resurrect the spirit of the true Great Pumpkin whereupon the poetry masses will realize his linguistic, historical, poetical jiu jitsu is just what Doctor Strangelove ordered – America you have a new poet laureate!

Lydia Cortes – Will now play her mix tap of trap music with sampled Tony Croatto crooning – so you know Lydia knows her way around an exclamation: Is it really me? YES, it is you! dear listener who shall appear all ears as the poet herein brings POetry NOw! No money back! ’cause after all this evening is free & Lydia might just kick back & sip a tasty Borinquen blend watching the land of the courageous Muse in her head.

Julien Poirier – has come all the way from the isle of wight with his trusty satchel of amputated presidential fingers for us to examine in person as all manner of brilliant bird bursts from his satchel to assume the words in flight he’ll launch to each listeners’ late night delight.

Also on the bill – most likely strumming up a mood to set the meet & greet on its lively ear, dear, will be the pecussive proclivities of Tristan O’Shea  who’s organic arrangement of the sounds of silence have blown Art Garfunkel away!
