Get to know UDP!
This selection of some of our classic and best-selling books will give you a taste of what UDP is about—experimental poetry, new editions of work by “forgotten” artists, writing in translation, most of them with letterpress covers printed at the UDP studio. Here, you’ll find works as wide-ranging as ethereal erasures of Shakespeare sonnets, pamphlets on how languages are upheld via mothers and Ingmar Bergman, poetic styles that illuminate the abysses of emotional sensitivity, and the braiding of intimate and public thinking about forms of togetherness.
Bookstores can order our titles by email at orders@uglyducklingpresse.org or through our distributor, Asterism Books.
Collaboration and community are of primary importance to UDP. Our partner bookstore program is made up of independent bookstores around the United States and abroad, through which booksellers are given special discounts in exchange for keeping their shelves well-stocked with our books and chapbooks. If you are interested in the program, please contact orders@uglyducklingpresse.org. You can find a list of current partner bookstores here.
