Poet and scholar Simone White gives a craft talk on her current project: a long poem that explores the cost of anti-patriarchal life for black women today, “which seemed, to me, to necessitate an open form; one that suggested an inquiry without end.”

Presented as part of the Poets House Emerging Poets Fellowship public lecture series, with support from the Jerome Foundation.
