John Surowiecki reading

John Surowiecki, visiting writer at Notre Dame of Maryland University, is the author of four books of poetry and six chapbooks. His work has been recognized with the Washington Prize, White Pine Price and Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry. He is also the recipient of the Poetry Foundation’s first Verse Drama Prize. His play, My Nose and Me (A TragedyLite or TragiDelight in 33 Scenes) was performed a the  2008 AWP convention in New York City and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater as part of the Poetry Foundation’s Poetry on State series and as part of the Creative Sustenance Program at the University of Connecticut. For more information, contact Professor Shelley Puhak at spuhak@ndm.edu
