Kim Rosenfield is a poet and psychotherapist. She is the author of several books of poetry, including Good Morning–Midnight– (Roof Books 2001), Tràma (Krupskaya 2004),re:evolution (Les Figues Press 2009) and Lividity (Les Figues Press, Spring 2012). Of re:evolution, cultural critic Sianne Ngai writes: “Rosenfield conducts her investigation of literary change by experimenting with linguistic junk and vestigal forms, mixing show tunes with textbook captions, advertising with the names of enzymes, as if to test which forms, in which combinations still seem available and which ones likely to die out.” Her work has been included in the anthologies Bowery Women (YBK Publishers, Inc.), The Gurlesque (Saturnalia), Against Expression (Northwestern University Press) and I’ll Drown My Book (Les Figues Press). She co-founded and co-edited Object magazine (1993-2002) with poet Robert Fitterman. She is part of the artist/writer’s collaborative The Collective Task (The Collective Task, Patrick Lovelace Editions, 2009). She received a Fund for Poetry Grant in 2013. Rosenfield lives and works in NYC.
