Leonard Schwartz & Prageeta Sharma
Leonard Schwartz is the author of numerous books of poetry, including A Message Back And Other Furors (Chax Press), The Tower Of Diverse Shores (Talisman House), and Language As Responsibility (Tinfish Editions). In recent years he has read from his work at international festivals, conferences, and universities in China, Turkey, France, Belgium, Portugal, Russia, Australia, Argentina, and Peru, as well as at numerous venues in the U.S., ranging from the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, to the University of Hawaii, The College of Santa Fe, The University of Utah, Stephens Institute of Technology, and the St. Marks Poetry Project in New York City. Schwartz also hosts the radio program Cross Cultural Poetics, archived online at Pennsound. He teaches at Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington.
Prageeta Sharma is an associate professor in the MFA program at the University of Montana and author of four poetry collections: Bliss to Fill, The Opening Question, Infamous Landscapes, and Undergloom. In 2010 she received a Howard Foundation Grant, and she was recently awarded writing residencies at Hotel Pupik, The Millay Colony, and Headlands Center for the Arts.
