Come celebrate Anna’s new book You and Three Others Are Approaching a Lake (2011) and Maureen’s new book Applies to Oranges (2011) with us.
Anna Moschovakis is the author of two books of poems, I Have Not Been Able to Get Through to Everyone and You and Three Others Are Approaching a Lake. She is also an editor at the Brooklyn-based publishing collective, Ugly Duckling Presse. She lives in Delaware County, NY.
Maureen Thorson is a poet, publisher, and book designer living in Washington, D.C. Her first book, Applies to Oranges, is being published by Ugly Duckling Presse. She is the author of a number of chapbooks, including Mayport (2006), which won the Poetry Society of America’s National Chapbook Fellowship. Maureen is the publisher and editor of Big Game Books, a small press dedicated to emerging poets. She is also the co-curator of the In Your Ear reading series at the DC Arts Center.
