Warren Smith, percussion;  Steve Dalachinsky, poetry;  Edith Lettner, alto & soprano saxophone, duduk.Warren Smith, Edith Lettner, and Steve Dalachinsky present an evening of improvised music and poetry with the accent on spontaneity in a painterly fashon — exercising the principles of freedom while celebrating Lettner’s exhibition of paintings currently on view upstairs in the Café.Improvised music is a passion of saxophonist, composer and painter Edith Lettner. Based in Vienna, Austria, she has played with many great musicians and bands from all over the world (world music, jazz, improvised music). Her frequent cooperation with musicians from other cultures and artists from other art genres and her numerous stays abroad (Senegal, New York, Armenia) have made her an incredibly versatile artistic personality. Admission is $15 and includes a drink.For more information on this event, click here.
