Yevgeniy Fiks was born in Moscow in 1972 and has been living and working in New York since 1994. Fiks’ work has been shown internationally, including solo exhibitions in New York at Winkleman Gallery and Common Room 2. Fiks is the author of three books: Lenin For Your Library?(ante projects, 2007), Communist Guide to New York City (Common Books, 2008), and Moscow (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2013).
