Kate Colby is the author of Fruitlands (Litmus Press), Unbecoming Behavior (UDP), Beauport (Litmus Press), and The Return of the Native (UDP). Fruitlands received a Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America in 2006. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
Cole Swensen is the author of twelve volumes of poetry, most recently Ours (University of California Press, 2008) and The Glass Age (Alice James Books, 2007). Her 2004 title, Goest, was a finalist for the National Book Award; other volumes have won the Iowa Poetry Prize, the San Francisco State Poetry Center Book Award, Sun and Moon's New American Writing Award, and the National Poetry Series.
Jill Magi is the author of the following books and chapbooks: SLOT (forthcoming, Ugly Duckling Presse), Furlough/Die for Love (forthcoming, Ed. Press), Poetry Barn Barn! (2nd Avenue), Confidence and Autonomy (Ink Press), Threads (Futurepoem), Torchwood (Shearsman), and Cadastral Map (Portable Press). Her work has been anthologized in Between the Image, The Eco-Language Reader, Harp & Altar, Letters to Poets, and Fiction from the Brooklyn Rail.
