Book Launch Party with two releases from Spuyten Duyvil Press:

Pedram Navab’s This Will Destroy You and Lewis Warsh’s A Free Man (originally published by Sun & Moon Books, 1991).

Pedram Navab is a neurologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine who currently resides in Los Angeles. He has been educated at Stanford and Brown, and holds a Master’s degree in English/Modern Culture & Media and a JD. He has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for a stand-alone segment of his debut novel, Without Anesthesia.

Lewis Warsh is the author of over 30 volumes of poetry, fiction & autobiography, including Out of the Question(Station Hill, 2017), Alien Abduction (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2015), One Foot Out the Door (Spuyten Duyvil, 2014), Inseparable (Granary Books, 2008) and Flight Test (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2006). He’s editor and publisher of United Artists Books and a recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, and The Fund for Poetry. He’s taught at Naropa University, The Poetry Project, Bowery Poetry, SUNY Albany, and Long Island University (Brooklyn) where he was founding director of the MFA program in creative writing (2007-13) and where he currently teaches.
