Join us on Thursday, March 21 for the launch of Mandible Wishbone Solvent by Asiya Wadud.
Author Wadud will share poems from her newest publication and be joined in conversation by writers Alisha Mascarenhas and J. Eunsun.

More about the Speakers
Asiya Wadud is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Mandible Wishbone Solvent and No Knowledge Is Complete Until It Passes Through My Body. Her recent work appears in e-flux journal, BOMB Magazine, Triple Canopy, Interlude Docs, POETRY, Yale Review and elsewhere. Asiya’s work has been supported by the Foundation Jan Michalski, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Danspace Project, Finnish Cultural Institute of New York, Rosendal Theater Norway, Beirut Arts Center and Kunstenfestivaldesarts, among others. She lives in New York City where she teaches poetry at Saint Ann’s School, Columbia University and Pacific Northwest College of Art.
Alisha Mascarenhas is a poet & translator, and the author of Contagion Fields (Belladonna* chaplet, 2021). She has contributed recent writing to The Recluse, The Poetry Project Newsletter, Pamenar Press. Alisha’s debut book of poems, A Catalogue of Risk, was the recipient of the 2023 Carolyn Bush Award from Wendy’s Subway, and is forthcoming this fall. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
j. eunsun is a poet and artist based in new york city. she integrates mediums of text, paper, and image. her work listens towards memory keeping and familial histories.
