Poetry Workshops with Aaron Kiely

In these workshops with New York-based poet and UDP author Aaron Kiely, students will share their poems and receive feedback and suggestions for their writing. We will look at poems by Juliana Spahr, Anselm Berrigan, Lisa Jarnot, Allen Ginsberg, Eileen Myles, Jack Spicer, James Merrill, Charles Bukowski and others. We will also look at poetry from various languages translated into English. Included in the price of the workshop is one private meeting to discuss the student's poems. UPCOMING 2011 GROUP WORKSHOPS All workshops are for writers of any level of experience. Workshops meet once a week for 6 weeks - either on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Saturdays. MARCH 29--MAY 3 (Tuesdays, 7-9 pm) MARCH 30--MAY 4 (Wednesdays, 7-9 pm) APRIL 2--MAY 7 (Saturdays, 3-5 pm) All group workshops are $225, each workshop is limited to 12 students.
