Dear Indoor Lovelies:

How we’ve missed you all, its as if the muse has been moved indoors to a private echo chamber, and so here we are, isolated within our own realms, each to each, well, let’s try to bridge the pandemic ice bridge for an hour or so.

Link to join the reading on Zoom: https://columbiauniversity.zoom.us/j/636453649

We’ll start off with a brief meet n’ greet at 10 Pm as people click in from around their living room consciousness, maybe we’ll even have some music to ease us into the reading with Other Arc Ensemble playing through the invisible nets to one another. This brief check-in will be followed at 10:15ish by  3 swimmingly buoyant poets:

Julien Poirier – heads out of the blocks with a full halo of Western blue sky rung round with San Fran Cirrostratus archipelagos trailing in his wake like tiny compact sandwiches for space explorers to munch on between stops at Chichen Itza and Roberto Bolano’s grave. His flair for feisty fusillades of form will knock yr socks off.

Alyssa Matthews – meets uptown to go downtown by way of LA, not from the left of the country but the sweet, dark bottom, entry to the warm southern seas and all its indelicate gold lacunosus, her work thus honeycombed with the doing and sayings of this ever protean temporal anima

Filip Marinovich – from a Wolfman enfolded in throne room snow libraries to a merman realtor touring the opera houses of underground Connecticut to Tommy Lee motley crue decolletage his pomes scale the heights of cirrocumulus’ crystalline blooms but strike with the thunder of the cumulonimbus rimshot
