Sara Deniz Akant, author of Babette (Rescue Press, 2015), Parades (Omnidawn, 2014) and Latronic Strag (Persistent Editions, 2015). Her work has been recognized with fellowships from Yaddo, MacDowell, and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and has appeared most recently in The Brooklyn Rail, The Denver Quarterly, jubilat, and Lana Turner. She has taught poetry and writing at the University of Iowa and the City University of New York, and lives in Brooklyn. Vanessa Gabb, author of the chapbooks midnight blue (Porkbelly Press, 2015) and Weekend Poems (dancing girl press, 2014). Her first full-length book Images for Radical Politics was the Editor's Choice for Rescue Press' 2015 Black Box Poetry Prize and will be published by them next year. She is the co-founder of Five Quarterly and is from and lives in Brooklyn. Callie Garnett, a writer and editorial worker living in Brooklyn, where she was born and raised. Her writing has appeared in Public Books, Prelude, Petri Press, and the Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Society. Her first chapbook Hallelujah, I'm a Bum is just out from Ugly Duckling.
