Her first book, Fruitlands, won the Norma Farber First Book Award. She hosts a quarterly poetry series at the Gloucester Writers Center in Gloucester, Mass., and lives with her family in Providence, RI.
Runner-up for L Magazine‘s “2011 Best Reading Series” in Brooklyn, Stain of Poetry (founded in 2006) is curated by poets Steven Karl, Erika Moya, and Christie Ann Reynolds. Previous hosts were the founder Amy King and Ana Bozicevic. The readings are held on the last Friday of every month (7 – 9 p.m.) At each reading, you will hear a range of poetries and reading styles, as well as meet poets and appreciators, many who have traveled from the world's four corners.
