The Happy End presented by The Management Ensemble
August 3, 2018, 7:00 pm
at The Courtyard at The Plant

The Happy End is the story of the absurdity of office work, minus the story. It's a situation comedy: job fair, theatre company, furniture storeroom, several questionnaires, some eggs. Athletically adapted from Mónica de la Torre's book The Happy End/All Welcome (UDP, 2017), which is based on Martin Kippenberger's installation, "The Happy End of Franz Kafka's Amerika," a novel Kafka never finished and Kippenberger never read. You may never stay for the whole thing, but admission is free *if* you bring a copy of your resume. The Management Ensemble is a band of brains atrophied by fluorescent office lighting: Stine An, Kate Colby, Matt Derby, and Zoe Guttenplan, with direction by Darcie Dennigan. Showtimes: Friday 8/3 at 7pm Saturday 8/4 at 8:30pm More information can be found here.
