Chia-Lun Chang & Zahra Patterson Zahra Patterson, an educator from Brooklyn, writes strange fiction, satirical drama, & serious nonfiction. She is the author of Chronology (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2018) & a CLMP Face Out fellow. In a past era, she created & directed Raw Fiction, a one-time (done twice) youth literary arts project. Chia-Lun Chang is the author of One Day We Become Whites (No, Dear/Small Anchor Press, 2016). Recent work appears in LARB, Bettering American Poetry Volume 2, PEN America, & Literary Hub. She received fellow- ships from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Fine Arts Work Center & Poets House. Raised in New Taipei City, Taiwan, she lives in NYC.  These events are made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
