Daniel Owen

is a poet, editor, and translator between Indonesian and English. Since 2013, he has edited and designed books and participated in many processes of the Ugly Duckling Presse editorial collective. As a poet, his books and chapbooks include Celingak-Celinguk (Tan Kinira, 2021), Up in the Empty Ferries (Third Floor Apartment Press, 2021), Points of Amperture (DoubleCross Press, 2021), Restaurant Samsara (winner of the Furniture Press Poetry Prize, 2018), and Toot Sweet (United Artists, 2015). His translation of Afrizal Malna’s Document Shredding Museum was published in Australia by Reading Sideways Press in 2019 and in a revised edition in the US by World Poetry Books in 2024.
