Excerpt
From 6×6 #17
Truncated thoughts make way for daylight
create space for afternoon meanderings
are we doomed to watch and wait days
people walk and drive past
as we sit cloistered in half-language
imagining walls spill secrets to anxious limbs
spring breezes tuck in tight to eaves
remind us of the speaking world.
—Megan Kaminski
